Priority takes the time to work with homeowners to educate them in the process of safe asbestos management and abatement. If you are thinking about a realestate transfer most buyers want an asbestos free home.  If you have a planned or unplanned renovation make sure that the building components being disturbed are tested as being non asbestos by a licensed testing company.  We have completed countless cleanups of homes that have been contaminated by homeowners or home improvement contractors who removed materials that they assumed to be non asbestos only to find that after they have torn down a wall or removed a floor they find that the material actually did contain asbestos.  Unfortunately they spread dust through the entire house. Asbestos can be found in thousands of building materials and appliances used in the home and needs to be handled properly.
